Remarks:
Reducer is optymalized by partial gear – reaches overall gear ratio (total actual ratio) compatible with tolerance range RAGN 33500 – the smaller size compared to competitive equipment.

The 3-stage helical reducer is fully interchangeable with the Gwarek-1000 reducer, has the same outside as well as connecting dimensions. It is designed to work in mining belt conveyers with the wide of the belt ranging between 1000 and 1200 mm, installed motor power from 90 to 160 kW and reduction ratios from 12,68 up to 25,31.

It is also possible to produce the reducer according to the specific needs of the client such as a backstop device, water oil-cooling system, different input and output shaft diameters and lengths, or even a foot mounted unit.

Planetary gearbox PPL-300 zobacz więcej

n the year 2016 Joint Stock Sompany Befared produced a planetary reducer designed especialy for powering of the helical presses A2.1010 for ligth and dense soda ash  ( Na2CO3 ).

The press is working 24 hours a day in temperatures ranging from 10 to 50 deg Celsius in hard working conditions – mostly die to variable load. The material delivered to the presses: 65 tons/hour of soda ash.

A multi-stage gearbox of a screening machine distributes power among sorting sieves in a coking plant, depending on a machine version, BEFARED manufactures gearboxes with any number of output shafts, e.g 12 or 16.  A gearbox is driven by a 14 kW and 31,5 transmission angle helical motoreducer, which guarantees 48min-1 rotation on output shafts. Depending on customer requirements, a drive system is equipped with an external lubrication system (a toothed pump driven by a power motor) or the one that is embedded into a gearbox.  Another solution eliminates any potential pump power failures, which could cause stoppage of lubrication or damage to a toothed gearbox.

Coal sorting machine
In the Year 2015 our company has produced a coal sorting line for sorting lignite which powers boilers in one of the polish power plants.
The sorting machinery is powered by specially designed for this use bevel reducers powered by electric motors connected via hydrodynamic as well as Befared Production standard couplings.
The machinery is predesigned to work with various diagnostic mechanisms which constantly control bearing vibrations, temperature of the reducers and gearboxes, power consumption of the motors. This equipment allows the facility’s maintenance team to preform inspection and overhauls of the driving mechanisms before a serious failure occurs.

The gearbox was designed as a replacement for the double-helical bevel gearbox. Three identical gearmotors drive a toothed rim which in turn drives the diffuser in a sugar mill. The  SMH-V7-630 gearbox is driven by 45kW motor with speed of 737 rpm.   Thanks to reduction ratio of 345, the output torque is 180000Nm and output speed is 2.14 rpm.
The pinion module 26 mounted on the output shaft drives the toothed rim. The gearbox features forced lubrication.

A BH-V10-280 angle-helical multiplicator with 0,09 transmission, input rpm of  89min-1 and output rpm of 1000min-1. Gear power: 140kW. The gearbox supports external oil cooling system and is equipped with an electronic bearing and oil temperature monitoring system.  The gear has been designed for individual requirements of a foreign customer. The multiplicator works in a water power plant and transmits power from a water turbine to a power generator.

Since 2015 FRiM BEFARED is producing specializeg gears – multiplicators for mounting in nacelles behind propellers in wind farms produced for Italian customer.
The multiplicators are a contuinuation of Befared standard H-sereies of helical reducers – with “Z” shape axis layout.
Due to this the helical reducers are shorter and can be fitted across the nacelle which in term makes the whole machine smaller and shorter and in the same time allows bigger powers to be transfered by thr multiplicator

A toothed gear has been designed for individual requirements of a customer. A two-gear unit drives a cable drum of an overhead crane with 140 t capacity. The drive unit consists of the following:

  1. 100kW power motor with rpm of 966min-1
    2.            A toothed helical gear with transmission of 70
    3.            A clutch on a fast speed shaft
    4.            A shoe brake with the capacity of 1,6kN
    5.            A limit switch on a fast speed shaft.

Liquid -Iron-Vat plugging machine zobacz więcej

At the turn of 2015 and 2016 BEFARED made a “plugger” for Arcelor Mittal in Dąbrowa Górnicza.  The task involved making the “plugger” on the basis of archival documentation from 1970-80 and adapting the dimensions to pluggers currently used at the blast furnace. There are  four pluggers which operate in turns depending on the blast furnace capacity – max. capacity  is 430 tons of pig iron a day. The plugger works every two hours on the average. When the pig iron tapping is complete, the plugger drives up and plugs the taphole with special refractory mixture. The taphole is about 2.8 metres long and the temperature in its vicinity reaches 1400°C. Before the next tapping, the taphole is drilled again. Despite its dimensions of 6mx3mx1.5m and weight of about 15 tons, the plugger is a very precisely made piece of machinery, not only in linear dimensions, but particularly in angular ones which are made with accuracy down to a few minutes
